Surfing Sephora...Again

Too Faced 3 Way Lash Lining Tool
$22

I knew I hit the 3 month mark for suggested replacement for the brush head for my Clarisonic Mia...No need to check the calendar, it was limp, listless and perhaps overdue.

I must again emphasize how much I love this cleansing tool. I am only saddened that I didn't listen to my friend Kari at Fab Over Forty, when she raved about it eons ago.

What's so great???  Well, if you consider diminished age spots, fine lines and a more refined surface a plus, don't waste another second and go treat yourself to one.

Naturally, a visit to Sephora would have to included other purchases, but I was also generously sampled in makeup, new perfumes and cashed in my 500 point Insider Beauty points and got a substantial trove of plus sized mini products to try.

I have been curious to sample YSL's Touche Eclat Foundation ever since it launched.  Darling Tyshon packed me up two shades he thought would best match my skin tone. I will try them and report back tomorrow.  This has the potential to be a game changer.

In the interim,  I was intrigued by Too Faced's new 3 Way Lash Lining Tool with its unique tip. Eyeliner is having a moment, (again, thank God) and I recently discovered how much I am adore the drama less shadow with just a bold sweep of Laura Mercier's  Caviar Eye Colour Stick in Cocoa.
Well I love this little sucker.  The intent is to be able to get 3 effects, a perfect tight line in the "water line" (inner rim), a dramatic line with the promise of the "cat eye" effect with the cock of the wrist and the one that sold me, "lash emphasizing".

Here that little tined tip comes in handy.  Simply dot between your lashes to and it instantly creates the illusion of fuller lashes and bigger eyes.  J'adore.

I am signing off now, because I have to go scrub my wrists with Ajax.  Suffice to say one of my perfume samples has turned asunder.

Check back for my Touche Eclat Foundation report and don't forget to consider supporting the Laura Mercier Ovarian Cancer Fund, with a purchase of two lovely products created by Laura for this event.  We are not winning this war.

xox,
DD
