Lash Blast Fusion: The cheap and cheerful mascara of my dreams???

Sadly, not. 

As I am now scraping the barrel of yet another tube of Benefit's They're Real Mascara, I find myself on my third attempt at a cheap & cheerful mascara that will give me enough volume and fullness to save myself $24.00.  They're Real is a a great mascara but it's also a real pain to remove.

A few years back, I had a love affair with CoverGirl's Lash Exact. Also housed in a purple tube, it provided full, clean looking lashes for day.  So what if I ran out of it in less than a month?  It was certainly affordable enough to replace as needed.

I Love a Good Cheap Mascara...Don't You???

As a TotalBeauty Blogger, each week I receive something called "Totalbeauty Bits", which I have the option of sharing with my readers. When they interest me and I think they might interest you, I am happy to share them via DivaDebbi.

TotalBeauty courts readers, by the thousands, to participate in unbiased reviews of beauty products. They then calculate an average score on a scale of 1-10, to determine a products ranking.

In this weeks Beauty Bits, they offered up the 11 highest rated drugstore mascaras for under $10. Forget the 10 bucks... Forget Starbucks!!! Some were cheaper than a cup of coffee from Dunkin' Donuts!

My long time CVS fave is Cover Girl's Lash Exact Mascara, (in the purple tube). It does tend to dry out quickly, so I am generally on a 3 week cycle. I think I will take a walk on the wild side and give one of these babies a whirl...Please let me know if you do and what your experience is.

I love a beauty bah-gin as much as the next girl.

These products feel like splurging -- minus the high price tag

Get On The Ball

Do you remember your first kiss??? I don't, but naturally I remember my first mascara... Maybelline's Great Lash. It is still a bestseller, and often lives in the makeup kits of top artists, but for me, a sweet memory.

Do you think it is odd that I have a mascara wardrobe? I do, but I still have one! YSL's Faux Cils, for nights out, Maybelline's Pulse Perfection for work and Cover Girl's Lash Exact, (in the purple tube), for weekends. On what occasion to I use a fourth???...all of them.

After a hugely, successful test drive in Europe, Loreal's Telescopic Explosion Mascara, has hit the states. Why is it garnering so much beauty buzz? Because the applicator looks like a ball tipped weed whacker and functions like one too, magically pulling out never before seen lashes from the inner and outer corners and growing the middle fringes to telescopic proportions. I am in love.

It's the perfect top coat for all of my mascaras and it's fun to use too. Telescopic Explosion is so good, I bet it could even make Great Lash, great.

Get whacking!!!...
