St. Ives Purifying Sea Salt Exfoliating Body Wash $4.99 24.oz |
Probably, some of you still do. And why not? It smells great, exfoliates beautifully and the price is so modest it seems implausible.
I am always on the hunt for a great body wash. I tend to go through it rather quickly, so if it's budget friendly, so much the better. I had a good feeling about St. Ives new Purifying Sea Salt Exfoliating Body Wash after reading their press release from my friends at Kaplow P.R., so I asked to sample it...
I'm so glad I did.
I'm finicky about my body wash textures. I don't like them to feel syrupy, like baby washes, nor do I care for a wash that is slick and thick.
Purifying Sea Salt Body Wash has a light, creamy, gel like texture. The mineral salt is definitely in their, but it is gentle enough to exfoliate and brighten. My fear of losing a layer of skin? Completely unfounded. I like using it as directed on a bath sponge. It creates just the right amount of lather and it has a refreshing scent. (*Please Girls, always touch the ta ta's instead of sponging over your breasts...this is how I missed a breast lump, years ago.)
The other star ingredient is sea kelp (any affiliation with Creme de la Mer works for me). These 100% natural ingredients are loaded with vitamins and anti-oxidants, guaranteed to brighten dull skin. Other good things to know:
- Well priced
- Hypo-allergenic
- Paraben free
- Not tested on animals
