I have long been enormously fond of the magnificent colorful prints that are the signature of the family owned Italian design and textile house Etro.
Season after season, often with their signature "paisley" as a starting point, their cheerful prints are a feast for the eyes as they masterfully blend texture and pattern in coats, dresses, pants and skirts.
Perennially, they are one of the top selling designers at Richards/Mitchells, where I am their Personal Shopper. My favorite way to wear Etro is normally to let one piece be the focal point and pair the rest back to solids.
Occasionally, they do a completely neutral print, like the stunning velvet skirt above. That was the inspiration for all that followed in this set that I created on Polyvore.
