| Week 4: IQ Derma SmartLash |
Yesterday marked
one month mark, since I started using
IQ Derma's SmartLash at my sister Loren's urging...sometimes we should listen to our
Big Sisters. This was one of them.
I have tried several
OTC lash enhancers and of course, suffered through my
Latisse trial. I most definitely had enough of a clinical reaction; extreme redness and scratchiness, that I should have discontinued use, as they recommend...not
DD. I soldiered on because they looked
spectacular. Of course, once I stopped using it, all my pain and suffering ended up on a nightly cotton ball. Oh well. Live and
learn.
I'm extremely pleased with my
SmartLash results. I have increased growth in length and thickness,
without any irritation. I purchased mine for $29.99 as a continuing
Dermstore special, and locked into that price, opting for a 60 day renewal. (I seem to have plenty left, so I would recommend this over the 30 day option). Here's a pictorial time line of my experience with SmartLash over the last month:
 |
| Week 1- two coats of They're Real Mascara |
 |
| Week 2- One coat of mascara |
 |
| Week 2- one coat of mascara |
 |
| Week 3- I thought I was plateauing |
 |
| Week 4- one coat of mascara |
 |
| Week 4 |
 |
| Week 4 |
One of the other nice advantages is that I have also cut down to only
one coat of
Benefit's They're Real Mascara, which is a
blessing. I love it, but it's no picnic to remove.
So my lovelies, what do you think? Can you see a difference? I can! I feel quite comfortable recommending you try it.
It's officially Big Sis approved...by both of us.

I previously used an eyebrow restoration product from online; the unfortunate predicament was that it was almost impossible to cancel the product. Obviously not consumer oriented, this company!
ReplyDeleteWas it SmartLash? Im fairly confident that since this was done through www.Dermstore.com, that the auto delivery could be easily removed. I am so happy with my lashes I can't imagine stopping :). 60 days seems to be a perfect interval.
ReplyDeleteSorry you had a problem!
Baby Oil is a fast & great way to remove eye makeup.
ReplyDeleteWhy not show pictures without mascara?
ReplyDeleteI did show a pic without mascara in week 3. Sorry I didn't include it here. If you go back to week 3's update, you will see it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for weighing in!

I use the 1000 hour eye lash dye instead of mascara. Love it! Never had a problem with irritation when I use it about every 5 weeks. Sure beats the mascara routine. Between that and this product my eyelashes look like I always have mascara on, but it never looks clumpy and doesn't run. Took about 5 weeks to see real noticeable length, but once it got there...WOW
ReplyDeleteI have seen some smartlash eyelash enhancer reviews on the internet but only few are genuine. You should check out this smartlash eyelash enhancer reviews on smartlash
ReplyDeleteI think that speaks to why women read Beauty Blogs they trust. Im paying for my SmartLash. I have no vested interest in not sharing my experience, good, bad or indifferent.
ReplyDeleteI'm about 11 weeks in now and my lashes are looking as long and thick as they did at the height of my Latisse trials. Different things work differently on people. As I stated before, NeuLash, which did amazing things for my aunt and cousin did not work for me. Zero growth. Its all a bit of trial and error!
I will check out the SmartLash reviews. Thanks for posting.
