Lierac Paris New Eye Makeup Remover

Lierac Paris Eye Makeup Remover
$24  3.40z

I have to admit to being a bit bitter...I searched my whole life for the perfect eye makeup remover--one that was not oily, blinding me with a viscous film, one that removed every spec of makeup breezily and had lash enhancing properties.

I finally found it in Lierac Paris Diopti Demaq,  a cool gel that worked spectacularly.  It was a little pricey, but each tube lasted at least 6 months. It was my Holy Grail and then poof , it was gone.

No longer offered by Lierac, I resorted to hoarding tubes I purchased on Amazon. At some point, one must ask themselves, "just how old is this stuff."??? Hmmmmm. Big Sigh.

Just as I was at the on the very last drop, I received word that Lierac had launched a new eye makeup remover, might I be interested in sampling it?

Naturally...and can you Fed Ex it please?

Take It All Off: Lierac vs. MAC

I first discovered LIERAC Paris Diopti Demaq, in well, Paris.  I had forgotten my eye makeup remover and happened upon it, in a beautifully stocked small pharmacy.

It has such a lovely consistency. Diopti Demaq is a crystal clear gel that contains floral water of rose, cornflower and mallow extract and gently and cleanly removes all traces of eye makeup.  It is also infused with vitamin B5 and keratin, which helps to prevent lash loss and will leave your eyes feeling contoured and refreshed.

It was best remover I had ever found and lasted for well over 6 months. Imagine my surprise when I realized Lierac Paris Diopti Demaq was available at CVS upon my return. It had been right under my nose and I didn't even know it.

I purchased it many times over the years, occasionally trying other products,
always returning...until it disappeared off the shelves and Lierac's website.

Tragique.

Taking it all off: Yet again

Lierac Eye Makeup Remover $24

Ever since I fell in love with Benefit's They're Real Mascara I have loved how my lashes look every day.  I have also struggles mightily with how to remove it--every day.

Just a few weeks back, I thought I found a nice solution, with L'Oreal's Clean Artiste Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover.  It was effective and well priced at 6.99, but not 3 weeks later, I'm down to my last drop...effective, yes. Cost effective, not so much.

The very best eye makeup remover that I have ever used, was sent to me to sample back in September of 2010 (http://divadebbi.blogspot.com/2010/09/wishful-thinking.html#more).

Here is how I described it:
