Is it here yet??? I don't know about you, but I, for one am ready! The best thing about the Fall/Winter seasons, is undoubtedly the clothes....Other than that, I'll take glossy green lawns, and long, light filled days over, salt and snow, any day.
As a buyer, for
Mary Jane Denzer, the store I Co-Own with my partner,
Anastastia Cucinella, it is always fascinating to see how trends take shape for the season. It's not by coincidence that similar looks emerge on the runways. It starts with
Pantone's Color Forecasts, which then get woven into prints and solids by the fabric mills, and finally, interpreted by each designers imagination.
Sometimes, trends are tricky, so I say, "know thyself"... Your clothes should make you feel beautiful and help you radiate confidence. If a trend is
waaay out of your comfort zone, skip it. Go for the styles you love and that flatter your figure. You can always embrace a trend with the pop of a perfect accessory, if the full on look, feels like too much of a commitment.
