I recently bumped into my colleague Joe and his beautiful wife Lucille at Serafina's in East Hampton. It is always gratifying when people tell me, this product or that which, I reviewed, became a game changing favorite for them.

Lucille said, "I can't thank you enough for turning me on to Vichy Liftactiv Serum.  Just look at my lashes!!!" True enough, they were lovely, long and lush...

Well, I'm not sure I have ever seen cheesier packaging, normally it would be a deterrent from purchasing, but my world class facialist Julie Pipilo at Skin N.Y. Westchester swears by Grande Mascara. sells it and uses it herself.

Sold.

I had also been using Grande Lash MD's lash enhancement serum for the last few months. My lashes grew beautifully.  I finally have to concede, however, that I am sadly one of the 3% who is allergic to it.

It is only in the last few weeks that I stopped using it that my eyes are no longer red and irritated. Clear eyes? Yes. Less lashes?  That too...

I used to have a really great memory for details of all kinds.  Nowadays something really has to resonate with me, like what I ate for breakfast for example, things just seem to fly out of my head.  A few months ago I remembered reading a tweet by my friend Jane Daly who writes the beauty blog The Daly Beauty.
