I must say, I am enamored with all things VB.   Yes, she's whippet thin, but she looks spectacular in her designs and I am always charmed when she is in full sartorial splendor toting a quietly attired child, who may just match her exact shade of greige...

Anyway, I had dedicated this to some of my dear Polyvore Pals, who have really been kind in mentoring me in the ways of Poly.  Like everything else, you get better with experience and a little guidance.

I am very pleased that Polyvore's Editorial chose to honor me by selecting this as one of their Top Sets for October 23rd, 2012.  I really liked this one!

Oh, I am so excited!!! Part of the fun of participating on Polyvore is getting to know other obsessed, crazed fashionista's from all over the globe.  Like all online communities, there is a rhyme and reason behind how things work.  I have never mastered Twitter, but Polyvore I get and now it gets me.

There are groups and contests to join all the time.  The winners sets are so spectacularly stunning, that I almost gave up on entering them anymore, and if I do, it is with zero expectations.

Lo and behold, the set I recently posted, with the gorgeous strapless, smokey blue mystery dress just won first place in the "Peplum" contest. (http://www.divadebbi.blogspot.com/2012/08/pretty-little-things.html.)

Yay!!!  Validation!!!

Anyway, sometimes images that I have saved, like this rare, vintage white cobra suitcase, inspire me to create sets around them. Thus my imaginary heroine is having a short, but lovely stay in London and needs to pack judiciously, but stylishly, of course...

Emma lights up the night...

I am absolutely crazy about Emma Stone's style. She has been on a recent European promo tour of "The Amazing Spider-Man". While some actresses show Red Carpet fatigue midway through most tours,
Emma showed no signs of abating her usual razzle dazzle.

I created the Polyvore above after being blown away by this particularly beautiful Bottega Veneta dress. I love the cut of the shoulders, the train, Emma's choice of a classic pump and her stunning up do a la Catherine Deneuve.
