Garnier Clean Refreshing Remover Towelettes

Garnier Clean Refreshing Remover Towelettes
$5.99

Until now, I was never very discriminating about makeup removing towelettes. How much better could one be than the other? I really use them as a prequel to thoroughly cleansing my face each night.  I have found, that no matter what is promised, a single towelette is really no match for mascara, liner and a day's worth of makeup and touch ups.

Out of habit and because I think I imagined them to be the most highly touted of the bunch, I always purchased Neutrogena's towelette.  When CVS ran an incredibly cheap sale on Pond's offering, I picked up two for $7.  I found them equal at doing the half the job.

On a whim, I picked up Garnier Clean Refreshing Remover Towelettes yesterday. My expectations were as average as my prior experiences...

Imagine my delight to learn that these puppies really do remove every last lick of makeup! Clean enough, so if it was too late to go through my usual cleansing ritual, I could sleep through the night without waking up at 4 to do what should have been done hours earlier.

Deeply clean and refreshed..dewy in fact.  I never thought I would have a Holy Grail makeup remover towelette, but Garnier Clean Refreshing Remover Towelettes have earned their due. So the next time you find yourself down to your last one, remember to give these a try instead.

I think you will be as pleased as I am. Isn't it nice when a product doesn't just meet, but exceeds expectations?  Thanks Garnier!

  2. Hi Debbie,
I used to use dry Olay cloths for many years that needed to be activated with water. I actually quite liked them! I'm not sure when I switched over to the premoistened ones. Which ones do you use?
