The Bronze Star

My "room" at work, where my clients visit me to shop by appointment, is getting a much needed face lift.  Hooray!!!  My desk is being refinished, so I had to empty it of all of its (10 year)! contents, down to the last emery board.  As a result, I stumbled across a small travel vial, that I had transferred some Sircuit Soleil Firming Mineral Self Tanner into.  OMG!!!  I have somehow forgotten about this delicious product.  After 3 days of straight compliments, I hit the web and ordered a fresh bottle.  The last one lasted for well over a year, primarily because I use it exclusively on my face.  Not only does this leave you with the most natural sun kissed glow, it does it with all natural ingredients that are good for your skin.
Here is the poop on the fabulous product:

Sircuit Soliel™ is an oil-free bronzing lotion that will give you a beautiful golden glow and have you looking like you just returned from your island holiday. (TRUE TRUE)!  Moisturizing and emollient, this unique formula is quickly absorbed into the skin, and spreads easily with a shimmering of a natural mineral pigment, ensuring you achieve a more even application.(LOVE THAT)! Raise the sophistication quotient and just say "no" to orange skin with this luxurious lotion that will leave your skin with a natural sun-kissed color, sure to make all of your A-list friends, envious. Covering all bases, the patented French botanical firming complex consisting of Terminalia Catappa Leaf Extract, Sambucus Nigra Flower Extract and Tannic Acid helps to aid in the overall improvement of the skin's appearance by firming and helping to boost the skin's radiance. Do you know of any other self-bronzers that do this?   (NOPE)! Your healthy, glowing complexion will have you looking sinfully sexy and is sure to leave them talking. Don’t worry…this will just be our little secret…K? (K)!  Bestseller. (DUH)!

  1. I like this bronzer and I was happy to see that it initially had a yellow/3 rating; however, I see that the firming bronzer (now the only one available through Sircuit Cosemeceuticals) now carries a yellow/5 rating. A wee bit too high for my liking (still better than most commercial self-tanners, though). It is easy to apply and leaves a very natural looking glow. One downfall is that if you work out or swim, it WILL rub off on your clothing. Also, be VERY sure to wipe your hands well (esp. under nails, between fingers and at wrists) after using. I'm so sorry it has such a high rating now. Hopefully Sircuit will go back to making a regular (non-firming) skin bronzer

  2. Hi Shea Butter!
Thanks for commenting! I have no clue what the yellow star system is about! Is that referring to the tone of the self bronzer??? I am only familiar with this bronzer as is, which is formulated as a firmer too...are you saying they changed their formula?
I have tried so many self tanners over the years!
This vaguely beachy smelling lotion lifts me right out of my winter doldrums instantly! I love it!

  3. Debbi- I think Shea Butter is referring to the Cosmetic Database which rates products according the to the alleged toxicity of it's ingredients. I personally take them all with a grain of salt as there have been many inconsistencies with that site & their gathering of data.
That said, this bronzed sounds delightful and I plan to track some down! I too have tried many self tanners and so far the only ones I like have been the St Tropez mousse and the Neostrata self tanner is a close 2nd. Hope your desk turns out beautifully!

  4. Thanks Jane!
I think Sircuit Skin Care prides themselves on their natural ingredients, so I am surprised that it would not receive high marks...doesn't matter a bit to me! Love this stuff!
