I think there is nothing kinder that you can give to yourself than the gift of massage.
I never hesitate to book them on vacations or weekend getaways, but I'm trying now to enjoy them more regularly at home.  Why not?  Especially since I have found someone with magical hands...

Denise Liquore works at the beautiful spa at Equinox in Greenwich.  The minute I walk into the tastefully appointed, immaculate massage room, I feel my body relax.  By the time I leave,  I'm as limp as a noodle.

Mother's Day  is just around the corner.  I'm always surprised at how clueless men can be about what to buy their wives for MD.   For what's its worth, no man, currently married with children, has a way out of a gift.  The old, "but she's not my mother" has zero credibility.

IMO, (besides jewelry), one of the nicest gifts you can give or get is a gift certificate to a soothing and luxurious spa.  It really is a twofer; an opportunity to be pampered and the alone time to enjoy it.

When it comes to spas, I am as picky as they come.  I am only happy if it is immaculate, modern, luxe, supplied with cutting edge products and staffed with expertly trained aestheticians and masseuses.  Paradise has finally been found...

I'm Melting...Melting!

I don't think it's a coincidence that 6 people have asked me if I have lost weight in the last few days...the scale is also looking good, thank you.  I'm not much of a foodie, primarily because I have little interest in cooking,  even though I come from a long line of great ones and do appreciate eating beautifully prepared food.

The only thing I can attribute this to, is the Body Melt treatment I experienced at the Equinox Spa in Greenwich...  When I told Gentry Long the always enthusiastic and professional General Manager that I was a Beauty Blogger, he was excited for me to sample some of the advanced treatments the spa has to offer like the Body Melt and the Hydrofacial.  Naturally I was game and excited.
