Estee Lauder Double Wear Infinite Waterproof Eyeliner

Estee Lauder Double Wear Infinite Waterproof Eyeliner
$24 at Ulta ($25 elsewhere...go figure.)

I've never been much of an Estee Girl...I can't exactly put my finger on why not.

Growing up, my favorite Auntie, had an affinity for Youth Dew, one of Estee's original, signature scents.  I adored how it smelled on her and loved how it lingered.  Years later, when Tom Ford rebooted it, I asked my sister to buy it for my Birthday.  Some how, the allure eluded.

Part of the reason I don't gravitate to it is because I am rarely in department stores, where EL has always been traditionally sold.  I was surprised to see it at Ulta the other day and decided to pay the display some mind.  I was in the market for a truly  long wearing eye pencil, that would glide on but stay on and have some initial color depth, that was also buildable.

I was also looking for a color that would complement my Lancome Art Liner in Azure, which I had messily been trying to give more staying power to, by first rimming my eyes in a similarly colored shadow.  It's messy business.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Infinite Waterproof Eyeliner comes in 10 beautiful shades and has a built in sharpener. Indigo, was the perfect inky navy I was looking for. I looked forward to trying it the next morning.

This is a very nice product Lovelies!  It applies without tugging, and goes where you put it.  It does have a smudger on the bottom, which they suggest you use quickly before it sets.  Your line can be thick or thin, depending on your preference.  It wore like a dream and was the perfect companion for my Art Liner.

Estee Lauder does promise, "24 Hr. Wear" and I'm pretty sure, it would deliver, if you were inclined to sleep with it.  The only heads up, is that it does make removal a wee more challenging, but to me, worth it, for a product that requires zero touch ups.

On the heels of my success with Double Wear Infinite Eyeliner, now that Estee is at Ulta,  I will be exploring other products in the future.  As always, I am happy to share my loves and loathes.

This one is a LOVE...
