DivaDebbi' s Best of 2013 Skincare

Happy New Year Lovelies!!!

I spent part of the day reviewing my reviews over the last year.  I wanted to share my absolute faves with you.  I have and will purchase these products again and again.  Like La Peau Skincare and my Clarisonic Mia, these are products I consider to be Holy Grails.

I will report this in two parts, Skincare and Beauty and will link them back to their most readily available retail site. As always, I thank you for reading my blog and always welcome your feedback and comments.

Best of Skincare 2013

Philosophy Resurface Microdelivery Dual-Phase Peel ($69)- None better. Simple to use and delivers spectacular results.  I purchased this in March and try to remember to use it at least twice a month.  I still have half left. Insanely good.

Bliss Thinny Thin Chin & Neck Firming Cream ($48)- Provides some instant topical firming and when used regularly, has nicely toned my neck area.

Hada Labo Plumping Skin Gel and Cleanser ($24.99- &11.99)- I stumbled upon this incredible, well priced skincare line from Tokyo, on my first trip to Ulta and have since turned many friends on to it. You will be tempted to hoard it.

Murad Instant Radiance Eye Cream ($68)- I am fortunate not to be plagued by dark under eye circles, but from time to time when I need some extra help, this is my go to product...imagine if I used it everyday instead of just in crisis mode...note to self.

Murad Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightener($60)-I have not sat in the sun for several years, but every now and then, on a breezy 70 something degree day or on vacation, I will not resist soaking up a few rays. Inevitably, whatever hard work I have put into lightening freckles and age spots is undone.  This product is more effective than prescriptions I have used.  It is always on hand.

Roc Multi Correction 5 in 1 Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30 ($28.99)- I use this product religiously on my hands, neck and decollete, rain or shine. It absorbs beautifully, tones and brightens and has a pleasant smell. I have used it on my face as well and love that it never appears chalky, as some day creams with SPF do and applies smoothly.

Burt's Bee's Radiance Body Lotion ($9)- I'm crazy about this lightweight moisturizer that is infused with Royal Jelly, Aloe and Sunflower Oil. It also had minuscule mica particles that literally, leaves your skin glowing.  The price is sweet too.

Microdermabrasion MD ($300)- Yes. It's expensive...however, the results you will achieve are worth every nickle.  I use this weekly on my face and on areas of my body that have fine wrinkles, age spots or freckles I wish to address.  At the low end, 3 professional Microdermabrasion treatments could easily cost $300. It's simple to operate and comes with a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee. Figure out a way to justify it...this is a game changer.

Kate Somerville 360 Body Tanning Towelettes Body ($48) I have tried literally dozens of self tanners over the years. I no longer sun, but I can't bear being without a hint of color year round. These streak free, easy to apply towelettes produce a warm golden color.  I use them once a week, head to toe. There is not better product on the market.

Here's to a gorgeous 2014...
