Review: Murad Rapid Collagen Infusion

Murad Rapid Collagen Infusion
$78
In September, I was part of a group top beauty bloggers who were invited to meet Dr. Howard Murad at a reception in N.Y. at the St. Regis. (http://divadebbi.blogspot.com/2012/10/dr-howard-murad-man-full-of-healthy.html.)

It was a fabulous night, and I was delighted to meet  the esteemed Dr. Murad, who holds numerous patents and has won just as many awards.  Dr. Murad believes that the health of our face and body is directly linked to our emotional well being.  He treats his patients holistically and every product he launches is backed up by both research and clinical experience. Generally, the breadth of his products target and treat anti-aging and acne concerns.

I have tried many Murad products and I am always thrilled with their results. I recently included Dr. Murad's Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum in my DivaDebbi's 2012 Best of Skincare round up.  It is, hands down, the best product I have ever used in this category, including prescriptions.

When I heard about Murad's new Rapid Age Collagen Infusion that is, "Clinically proven to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in 2 hours", I immediately asked to sample it.  Here's the promise:

Murad Rapid Collagen Infusion is a fast acting formula designed to minimize the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Helping to maintain a more youthful appearance, Murad Rapid Collagen Infusion promotes healthy collagen and hydration levels.
Benefits:
  • Prevents wrinkles and promotes firm skin
  • Hydrates the skin from within to improve volume
  • Smooths skin's texture by fostering natural collagen and elastin production
  • Plumps the skin to smooth fine lines and wrinkles
I have been using it on cleansed skin in the morning for about two weeks before my serum and moisturizer.  As with all Murad products, a little goes a long way.

I do think it does a terrific job plumping up the eye area.  I had two lovely compliments this week; one from a colleague who is many years my junior. She is sweetly a devoted reader and it determined to maintain her youthful beauty. We stood side by side in the mirror and she was covetous my smooth under eye area and asked me if I was using any fillers or Botox to achieve it--happily, not.

The other came from another colleague I have known for 12 years but only see sporadically since we work in different locations, nicely he wanted to know, "how is it possible that you never look a day older than when we first met?"

How much does any of this have to do with Murad Rapid Collagen Infusion? I honestly can't say, but it sure make me want to keep using it!

I searched the web and found a 25% off sale on all Murad products at DermaShoppe.  This is a great opportunity to try Murad at a deep saving.

From my experience, it's all good...

  1. You are very lucky to receive invites to such wonderful events. I've been blogging since 08 and i'm still not sure how to become recognized as an over 50's beauty blogger. Maybe you can post some blogger tips!

  2. Whose over 50??? LOl. I focus a lot of attention and post on anti-aging beauty. You write about a wide variety of topics Lily. Try focusing more of your efforts on this niche and hopefully the PR people who represent these companies will seek you out.

  3. Hi DivaDebbi ... I just purchased this product to use as a nighttime treatment. Do you have any experience or evidence that it is beneficial used in this manner (instead of as a daytime serum)? The ladies at Beauty Brands recommended it as I was shopping for a good, anti-aging and restorative night "cream". Thanks!

  4. Hi Teri,
I only used it for daytime and quite liked it. Not sure why someone would recommend this for night use. It certainly can't hurt, but I might look for something more hydrating that also lifts and firms.
