Maybelline's Dream Nude Air Foam: No makeup types rejoice!

Maybelline's new Dream Nude Airfoam foundation

The first thing I tried from the Maybelline goodie bag I received at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week was exactly what I resisted purchasing the week before; Maybelline Dream Nude Airfoam Foundation...Thank you makeup Gods!

The consistency is like no other I have ever used--  It is literally as light as air.  It's important to shake it reallyy well,  (producing that lovely click-clack sound I've always liked.)  The directions recommend using small puffs and working quickly, applying in a circular motion.  It dries very quickly and it does dissipate from a foam to the lightest weight foundation possible, so you will need to pay attention and work fast!

Goodie Bags tend to be pre-selected with shades that will suit the most complexions.  Mine included Classic Ivory 150,  which is several shades lighter than  Sun Beige 265  (or Caramel 350)  I will buy now or in the summer months ahead.  Still I was able to warm it up nicedly with a bit of Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturizer, in Golden Bronze.

Here's how it looks on me:

(If you are wondering about the rosey cheeks and lips, stay tuned this week for future posts. Me Likey.)

"No Makeup Types", who wouldn't dream of using traditional foundation, just may find themselves gaga over Maybelline Maybelline Dream Nude Airfoam. Truly, a dream come true.
