I have been musing lately about how much I enjoy hearing from my readers about your favorite beauty finds. Many of you email me privately about them and I often try them or get fodder for new things to blog about. Let's get the ball rollling with mascara!!! When I think of how many I try...and keep trying, in search of the one, I have to laugh. This week I realized that I was liking the consistency of my new Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara, but loathing the oversized
What to do???
Well, I had received a bareMinerals Flawless Definition Curl &Lengthen mascara in a swag bag at Fashion Week, so I broke that out to check out the brush and oh yeah, try. Sadly, it did zipnada for my lashes. I found it watery and my lashes looked neither flawless or defined, curled or lengthened The brush on the other hand, much slimmer with a slightly indented "waist" showed great promise.
What to do???
What else??? Smashbox Full Exposure mascara meet bareMinerals Flawless Definition Curl & Lengthen brush...NOW we are tawking!!!
It's not perfect, but it's better. (The Smashbox brush btw, does not even fit in the bareMinerals tube, so there is some mascara carnage in this experiment).

My mascara love is Diorshow. I like the thick wand - I can grab every last lash. The formulation isn't too wet...or dry, it's juuust right giving me great volume & length. I've tried others that are very good (Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes) but I always go back to Diorshow. xoLiz

ReplyDeleteI think we my find out that there are two camps; thick wand and thin wand users. I just feel like such a klutz with a big wand. I did try Diorshow when it first debuted to raves! It certainly has a huge, loyale following, you amongst them!
