The Weekly Round Up

Fall is in the air and if you haven't considered changing your palette for fall yet, my Blogging Buddies are always out there trying the latest offerings. We are also starting to see what will be available from the Cosmetic companies for Holiday gift giving. These sets tend to provide an abundance of product at a very sharp price. I love taking advantage of these special values! It fits perfectly with my, "one for you and one for me, philosophy of gift giving. Here's what the Girls were up to this week:

Are you afraid to use blue eye shadows? Gaia at The Non-Blonde offered a review and advice on how to wear the beautiful new Aquamarine #13 Ombre Solo eye shadow from YSL's Fall 2010 Collection. Read it and you may reconsider blue.

Charlestongirl has been dabbling in the Bobbi Brown Holiday 2010 makeup treasures, and she's ready for daytime and nighttime. See Bobbi Brown's latest glam metallic eyeliners at Best Things in Beauty.

Considering going organic? Kari at Fab over Forty spent the week sharing makeup and skin-care products that are natural and organic. She even has a giveaway of Liz Earle products. Make sure to pop over to enter!

Sabrina at The Beauty Look Book gave us a close-up of the Guerlain Holiday 2010 Velours d'Or (#410) Ombre Éclat eye palette, along with fabulous swatches. Will these luxury shadows be adorning your eyes for the upcoming party season?
Creating a smoky eye can be difficult, but Kelly at Gouldylox Reviews found it easy with Samantha's Smoky Eye Collection from Buxom. She gave us the details on this hot set, along with a tutorial for creating gorgeous eyes.

Anne fell in love with the Essie nail polish collection for fall. After a seemingly endless summer filled with brighter-than-bright polishes, this new range of deeper shades is decidedly more demure. Check them out at BeautyXposé.

Debbi discovered Reviva Labs and their miracle anti-aging treatments for our hands. Follow the yellow-brick road to DivaDebbi for before and after photos. You won't believe the results!

Marcia and Lisa at Beauty Info Zone Blog shared the Tarte TEN Limited-Edition Collector's Eyeshadow Palette. It has a range of fall eye shadow colors and textures, and Lisa showed us just one of the beautiful looks on her own eyes.

Laurie showed us how to prepare for a beauty emergency with Trish McEvoy's The Voyager at Product Girl. The kit is like keeping a spare tire and some jumper cables in your trunk, but better.

Vicki has now posted five episodes of Flawless Faces for All Races at Makeup Artist Backstage. Have you been following?

Happy reading!

DD
